Service Writer

  • Primary responsibility is to maintain control over inventory.
  • Control parts distribution to mechanics and technicians.
  • Coordinate part orders, control inventory of parts, tires and stock part shelves.
  • Maintain parts list and repair orders (ensure parts are charged out).
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts room.
  • Responsible for entering all invoices (i. e. parts/outside repairs).
  • Coordinate partsreturnswith the Warranty Department.
  • Track all EZ-Pass and Qualcomm.
  • Handling DVCR from drivers.
  • Assist Service Manager with scheduling work.
  • Repair Order and Invoice Data entry.
  • Any other duties assigned to support activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • The equivalent of High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of related experience.
  • Excel, Word Knowledge.
  • Computer Data Entry Skills.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
